Maverick Transportation announced Charles Baber of Piggott, AR, as their Driver of the Month for November 2011. Baber has been with Maverick almost 6 years and has been a professional truck driver for 9 years.

"Charles is a very dedicated driver and never misses a deadline," said Fleet Manager Time Sales. "He has a great understanding of how important time utilization is on the road."

The eleventh recipient of twelve Drivers of the Month for 2011, Baber has proven himself a leader in the company's fleet, being honored with multiple safety awards. He cites, "pay and teamwork," as his favorite part of driving for Maverick.

Every month Maverick recognizes a driver from the company's fleet who takes pride in his profession and the company, employs safety, and maintains Maverick standards in all they do.  Employees vote from the twelve Drivers of the Month and the Driver of the Year will be announced at the end of 2011.  As Driver of the Month, Baber will also represent Maverick drivers on the prestigious Driver Advisory Council.
